Root Voice commander replacement

I just came over from the dInc and can't stand the voice commander on the DX (takes 15 seconds to start, dials random people half the time, doesn't work the other half). Is there any way to install the sense voice recognition software? Or some other voice software?

I didn't think Vlingo worked with bluetooth calling. Does it work now when I press the button on my headset to call someone?

Awesome, I'll give it a try. It can't be any worse than the Voice Commander software that is on the phone.

with vlingo and bluetooth. if my phone is locked as in the screen is off, when i hit the button on my blueant t1 and say "phone commands" it attempts to launch vlingo (my phones voice command default) but vlingo wont launch until i hit the unlock button on the top of the phone.

anyone else get that?

I don't get that exact scenario, but for the most part, I've found Vlingo to be junk. If it starts at all (it starts less than 50%), it usually gets the name wrong. If it does get the name correct (which is about 50% right now), it always calls home, even thought I said the name and Mobile.

I'm just trying to make it until April and hopefully the next HTC phone will be decent or maybe Google or Motorola finally figure out how to make a bluetooth calling app that works.
