Voice Talk is Missing?

Where is Voice Talk? I got a GS2 earlier this month and actually like this feature. I picked up a Skyrocket yesterday and notice VT is missing.

I was thinking of getting this phone but if Voice Talk is missing, I have no interest. Can you confirm if it has this?

I gotcha...kind of like Iris for android....but by Vlingo

From the little searching I did it looks to be exclusive to the gs2 for now. Maybe someone on xda. Has pulled it out for install by others.

Just download Vlingo from the Android Market (it's the same thing).

also, look into Jeanie (or Voice Actions). it's my favorite of the siri-clones.

Thanks, not exactling like "Hello Galaxy" but "Hello Vlingo" will work. Also, on the OGS2, all you would have to do is hold the phone up to your ear to activate Iris.

Customer of mine on sprint just showed me the app ln his gs2

Pretty cool. Like mentioned above it is in the market under vlingo

It's interesting, I've read in other forums/threads how some owners really disliked the integrated Vlingo in the OSGSII. One concern/question was that since it was integrated, there probably wasn't the ability to get updates like the Vlingo app (from Android Market). I did like it when I had the OSGSII, but it didn't have the full capability of the Vlingo market app. But for basic functions of calling, texting etc, it was a pretty cool interface. Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side...but I am still pleased with my decision to go with the Skyrocket. LTE speeds not blistering like other locations, but hopefully that will improve as AT&T is still rolling out LTE in our area.
