Root Voice to text not working

Just traded phones with the wifey. She is now using my rooted EVO. I did a hard reset to wipe my data, now everything seems to be working fine except the voice to text button on the keyboard... any suggestions? She does not want to start back over, now that the phone is set up.

Any help would be appreciated!

what rom are you on? have you tried to wipe dalvik cache and cache? that should fix it. if not wipe only dalvik cache and cache again and re-flash the rom. this will not wipe data so there will be no need to re do the settings.

You may also need to load the Google voice search.....you can find it it the market under voice search

Awesome, thanks... I'm running nitrous rom, everything worked until the phone # swap. Will try your method tomorrow.

Yes, biker is correct...I think he went thru the same issue not too long ago

Try downloading the google voice search, but that didn't fix it, will try wiping the the delvic cache and cache tonight.

Sorry that didn't seem to fix your problem. I had rooted a phone for a friend of mine and put Decks on it as the first rom and I had the same issue. The remedy for me was the Google voice search, but I'll add that I had to go back and reselect the keyboard in settings so you might take a look at that too.
