Help Voicemail message icon won't go away

I have a new problem with the Triumph. The voicemail new message icon will not leave the status bar for a few days now. Cleared all the voicemail, cleared cache, rebooted a few times since - it's still there. The Clear button is not showing in the status bar. I couldn't find anything on this issue with a forum search. Any thoughts? Thanks.

This happen to me too. Have someone call you and leave a voicemail then check your voicemail and delete it. The voicemail notification will go away after that. Hope it helps.

Happens to me sometimes.
It happens to me when I delete a voice mail and hang up too quick.

Use another phone and leave yourself voicemail.
This time when you delete it, don't hang up until the icon disappears.

Not that it really matters but my wife's old Droid did that and I never knew how to fix it. Wonder if it's a Motorola thing?

Nah, I think more of just a thing. My wife's lg also does it. It's so easy to hit that 7 to delete and the hang up button in quick succession. I have tried to get in the habit of just a slight pause before hanging up too quick.

My HTC LTEvo does it too from time to time. The easiest way I've found to fix it is to just reboot the phone.
