Two issues I have with my x is that sometimes the earpeice sounds like it rattles or has static when placing a call and the volume isn't loud enough. Im guessing the buzzing is either a hardware issue or a network issue but is there a way to increase the earpiece volume. My wife has a fascinate and that thing will blow your eardrum out!

Try blowing some compressed air through the silver mesh area of the speaker, there might be some dust trapped in there. Mine did that when I first got it, and after the compressed air, it hasn't done it again.

I'll try that. Any idea about the volume? Id like to safely bump up the volume settings without damaging the speaker. Don't know if its even possible to though.

Don't know about the volume. I'm sure one of the ROM devs would have already done it if it was a simple thing to do.

I thought I saw somewhere that one of the liberty roms had that ability but not sure?
