Volume increase?

Just rooted my phone and now trying to find out if anyone knows how to increase the volume on an S3?

On the s3 the easiest way I've found is to use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer and turn all the bands on the equaliser to full. It's a bit limited though.
Best way is do a search for "VIPER4Android FX" which you flash in recovery and it gives you a new system app. think Beats Audio.
It's really powerful :thumbup:

Thanks. I downloaded the FX, but I can't seem to find it except on the sound settings>music effects as a choice. I can't find where it is to adjust.

I'm mainly talking the loudspeaker volume. My music and my phone on speaker is not very loud at all.

Here you go. One is a 100% increase, one is 50%, and the other is a revert to stock. Just place the one you want on your Internal or external SD. Then you'll flash the zip in your custom recovery. I hope you're running Philz Recovery.

Did you find the app for Viper mate?
When I flash it, the app just appears in my drawer.
You were right to select it in music affects. I forgot to say that. I'm not using Samsung firmware and can't remember the settings layout.
Is it working? Did you get the option to install drivers? :thumbup:

Yes I got it to work. Thanks for that. Don't think I got the notice to install drivers. Wetdriver had some downloads that were a little more powerful. I've got to be able to listen to Black Sabbath's War Pigs without straining to hear. Lol Wish I was over where you arey friend.

I'd recommend a holiday (vacation) in summer in the Highlands and Islands.
The cities are full of funny great people but are mega deprived and my city (Glasgow) is the murder capital of Europe so it's not all bonnie lol.
Scotlands wilderness in the summer is stunning though. Just research "the Scottish Midge" first 😼

Oh, I would go back to the highlands. I would live there and telecommute. Nobody around you from what I've heard. The midge is like our mosquito in the states. Everywhere has some kind of biting little f'r.lol
