Help Volume+

Is anyone here using Volume+ to improve the loudness of their Nexus?
I'm using it and have the volume set to '7' but still think its not loud enough, so I would like to know what you have your setting at as I believe too high could damage the phone!

Thanks.

7 for the free version, 14 I think for the paid (I don't have the paid). It works better for me on my Nexus than Equalizer by SA labs did. For some reason the Equalizer wouldn't keep my settings.

You have to tell the equalizer to save the settings. Menu - store.

I have taken a screenshot with the volume set to 10, should I change anything else? I don't want to foolishly damage my phone.

Yeah, it'd store them alright, but when I'd use certain applications like YouTube it'd kick the settings out and I'd have to 're-store' them. It wasn't only Youtube, sometimes it'd do that on Pandora.

New update this morning. Volume level is now lower than before and still no difference no matter what I set the level at. BTW, volume level screen is back.

Do you guys have it selected as your audio device? I forget where, somewhere maybe in settings there is a check box. I had it unchecked at first and heard no audible difference. Then I checked it and it worked like a charm. This was before I rooted.

Settings/sounds/music effect/volume+. With the presets shown above it's loud. I have mine set to +3.

How safe is Equaliser? Could setting everything at max (even though not needed) damage your Gnex?
I have set the sliders approx halfway up on Equaliser but not sure how far to go.
