I have tried it with AOKP and it appears we are effected by this vulnerability, not sure if the how many other roms are.

I tested this on my marquee with ctmod 3.6.8 with dolphin Browser and it launched the hidden menu.

I tried the link shabby posted in the prevail forum and it just opened the data programming menu, but nothing else. The link you have hear actually have me the meid pop up
 
with stock marquee rom it pop upped a box with the meid #

with CM10 rom by tdm it popped up the phone with *#06# in the phone dialer display

That's the hidden dialer code. makes sense because cm usually doesn't have hidden menu, but it's not universal
