Root vvm on ics

anyway to get sprint vvm on jtg ics beta 3

Personally I havent tried ICS been waiting for a stable version which I hear they are getting very close. Can you not take a vvm.apk and install it and see if it is working for you?

thats what im looking for at least to try it out but i cant find one other than one for cm7?

When I ran AOSP on my hero, I made a backup of the vvm app while on a sense Rom with titanium backup. Then restored the app on my AOSP setup.
I'm not sure if this will work or not.

This fix for VVM was posted by Teh roxxorz in JTG's xda thread. I haven't tried it myself but it's something you can try for VVM.
If it works it's due to teh roxxorz, not me. I'm just passing it along.

-Backup the app and data in TB, my backup root, ect
-Flash back to ICS > restore the app and data, and it should be working."

Guess I've always been lucky I never really have had a problem with vvm I just save all my voice mails over to the sdcard that I needed or wanted to keep (Much nicer now that they have added that to the new one) and just installed the .apk this way i isntall the latest Gapps and have my vvm it has worked great for me. Only one time was there a small issue it was trying to verify my account but the rom I was on was giving me some other issues as well so not sure what the real problem there was I ended up Nandroiding back to Xplod and that was the end of that. It was a Sence 3.5 ROM but can't remember which one.
