Wake phone w/ volume button

If you're running a Sense ROM and want to be able wake the phone using the volume buttons, check out this thread on xda. You'll need to be rooted b/c you need to edit a system file. I tried it and it works on my Inspire running ARHD.

Awake screen using volume rocker

I'm aware there are apps that will allow this. I used NoLock in the past but wanted to be able to still keep the phone locked. I guess this is more for those that prefer to tinker with the internals than run another app. And I'm not a dev, so I don't know anymore about this than what the instructions say. All I know is that I tried it and it worked for me. YMMV...

I used to be able to do this, stock. But my GFs inspire wouldnt, stock. Now that Im rooted its gone. So I am checking this out, thanks for the link.
