Help Wallpaper sizing problem?

Okay, so I downloaded a couple different wallpapers and I wanted them to show the whole wallpaper. The problem is I can only select a portion of the picture, and not the whole picture to show. I downloaded an app (MultiPicture Live Wallpaper), but it seems to me that it is more of a live wallpaper than just an app to make my wallpaper fully shown. I am wondering is there a way to edit the wallpaper so it looks right? I have examples below. Please and thank you!

Because of the image, I'm not helping you
Wow that's helpful.

From what I've read, the way the wallpaper layout is designed in the OS is so that there is 3 widths to it so when the phone is turned horizontal it is going to distort the image.

As NoNameFace mentioned, try Wallpaper Wizardrii.

Personally I like redheads. The fact that she has big boobs does not affect the fact that I think she is sexy. I'm more of an ass man my self. And I don't see why the picture would affect people on helping me or not.

Are you using a 640x480 image? You need the full size image to edit in the MultipPicture live app, which I use all the time. Try centering your gal on a blank canvas. Let me know if I'm mistaken.

I'm having this same problem with pictures on my Optimus V phone. I can import pictures but no matter what size or pixel I set them to when i create a wallpaper, the picture is WAY too big and distorted. I could use some step by step help learning how to size pictures to fit the whole screen.

Resize your original picture to 320x480. Make a new image of a solid color or color gradient sized 640x480. Copy the resized original and paste it in the center of the new image. Save the result. Use that new file as your wallpaper. It should work.

The problem is that due to the fact that android used 5 screens, only the center part of the image is used for the main home screen. It's kind of confusing at first, but that's what you need to do.

Thats the problem Im having with my tablet, the stock handful of stock wallpapers don't do that. you get the full wide screen shot of the same full image on each page/screen.

But all the programs ive tried to add other images, try and do that above, totally messing it up. the home screen is like a 10X zoomed view of what you picked.

And cause its a tablet, Im having a hard time finding those stock images in it to see if I could just dump more files into it. Image searches don't find them.
but be a goofy extension for just android.
