Root Wanting to switch from Mikg to Cyanogenmod custom rom

So about a month ago i used this forum to help me root my phone an install MikG's custom rom an now i am bored with it an would like to try out Cyanogenmods rom. Is there a guide on here that can help me with that or can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Download CM7, put it on your sd, boot into recovery, wipe everything, flash cm7, reboot and enjoy

also do not forget to flash the gapps file as well. otherwise you will not get the market or any of google's apps. here is the gapps with sprint's visual voce messaging cooked in:gapps-modified-vvm-20110828.zip

also do not forget to make a nandroid backup before doing so. so this is the order i would do it:
1.nandroid backup
2.wipe everything but the sd card
3.flash the cm7
4.flash gapps
5.reboot and then enjoy!

I agree with everyone else, but your also going to want to flash the GPS drivers and maybe the Tiamat kernel as well.

You want the ones for gingerbread dated 8/28. Get the regular gapps and the one for updated google talk...flash gapps first and updated talk 2nd.
