Hi guys , So im a bit confused on some things.

I want to unroot my phone and then format it, such as restore everything to how my phone was when i first bought it then possibly update and re-root. I was wondering if some one could help me with this im so confused x.x

First, follow the unbrick guide (maybe not needed? IDK, included it because I am not sure how thorough factory reset is). Then turn off the phone, hold the volume down and power buttons, and wait for the phone to vibrate. When it vibrates, let go of the buttons and quickly slide your fingers across you keys, from the back button to the menu button, until it starts the factory reset. If the phone boots normally, turn it off and try again, this can take multiple attempts.

Yes, unbrick guide is needed because factory resetting a rooted phone leaves you rooted.

@OP,
Follow this (if you download the newest firmware, MS77010e, then you won't have to update):

Then factory reset.
