Warp Root PTT chat.

I recommend anyone who would like to... download the app called Zello (best PTT app IMO)...I created a channel called warproot password is android... inside the app click options add a channel and search for warproot
 
Thought it would be useful for us to communicate more instantly...questions..problems..or just to chat...also add me as a contact search username n0vexx
 
And again with more useful things for our community. I sir do appreciate you and your dedication. I shall download this and ignore you now. :)
 
Will definitely do this when my Warp comes back...still waiting...I'm so impatient:banghead: but I miss it but I think its actually on the way, they told me on tuesday that it should ship in 1 to 2 days

My wife and I have been using this app ever since we first got our Warps 6 months ago. There is also a version available for the PC, Blackberry and I-Phone and they can all intercommunicate. For short conversations it's much faster than texting or calling, at least for us anyways. One of the things we like about it is that it only does one thing and does it well. It doesn't try to do 3 or 4 other things on top of it and only be mediocre at all of them.

Yep, its the greatest, every IOS supports its, most lightweight, and most reliable/realtime/ great quality. I wanted to BUMP this b/c yes i see a few people on here and there, I spoke to Hroark on it last night, I think more people should hop on there if they have any questions, suggestions, brainstorming, its just an easier quick way to ask a question then make a thread when it maybe simple and anyone on the channel ( im always in it, i created it), can answer for you.
REPEAT: app name: Zello : once installed, menu, options, join a channel, search warproot password is android ....when you see users in their, hold down their name to add them to your contacts, as well....I suggest mapping vol + key to use as ur PTT key instead of having to touch the screen, you hold volume up and speak, you do this by going to menu, options, under the hood, map PTT, press vol +...hope to see more of you there ;)
 
I'll have to check this out if ZTE ever does more than email me saying to use the upgrade tool..and actually send me a shipping label. (Why can't they just email one?)

How is Zello different than Voxer?

It only does one thing (PTT) and it does it well. Myself, if I want to text, I'll use a texting app, if I want to IM someone, I'll use an IM app, etc. Some programs try to do 9 or 10 things and end up not doing any of them well. Zello also has a PC app which Voxer doesn't have.
 
i use zello all the time, and they keep updating better and better...hands down best ptt app.
