Warrenty for the X from VZ, include charging hole?

Hey all,
Where you plug the charger into the charge the DX, if it decided to stop working, meaning it will not charge the phone anymore... is that covered under the standard warrenty for the phone?
Because I do not have the insurance.

I'm assuming you've checked to see if it will charge with different charters? If you haven't try charging it with another charger, they typically break before the phone charging port. If you don't have another charger they could test it for you at Verizon
