i almost daily wear a fossil leather cuff watch. the leather is much smoother and nicer feeling on my wrist (esp since I have a nice scar running from the bottom portion of my palm to my wrist) and lighter than a lot of the heavier all metal watches.

Ive worn a watch nearly everyday since I was in my early teens. I remember when the first digital LED came out as well as the LCD. They were cool but I still prefer analog.

this is my daily watch, im trying to find one thats a little more casual since as much as I like it i'm always afraid of losing or breaking it.

I have a nice Burberry watch that my wife bought for me a few anniversaries ago. I wear it for special occasions and when we go out for a nice night on the town. I has a sweet clasp and is the most comfortable watch I've ever owned.

I wear a watch cos

a) I use it to check time instead of phone that has to be taken out of my pocket and turned on to see the time.
b) It feels good
c) It looks sexy and I get compliments

I like the Skagen family a lot. Good quality, light, slim, classy, fair prices.

I love watches, especially big watches and I wear one daily. My personal favorite is the Panerai that my baby gave me last Valentines Day.

i recently in the past yr starting wearing watches again. Im into the oversize one. Im currently rocking a couple of the nixons 51-30. and a Tissot. they go on rotations and it goes well with jeans or dress up :) here a pic of what one of my nixon looks like.

You must be a lefty.

Interesting thread :)

I own several watches but only wear one on special occasions, I didnt vote however as the special occasion that I wear my Casio Proteck PRS 400 is when I go fishing as it works out the best time for the fish to bite based on the moons phase and is pretty damn accurate. So i will continue to wear a watch when fishing until I can get a fish friendly moon phase app :)

For every day though, why wear a watch when you have the time on your phone. It dont make sense......

Well, I think it's faster than getting my phone out of my pocket and I've been told that watches do look good. Also it's not always polite to look at your cellphone.

So it kinda makes sense. ;)

Since I'm in front of a computer monitor all day at work I use that to tell time, when I'm not at work I just let everyone else get the time. Even when im wearing my watch i rely on others, an all silver face with no numbers and silver hands makes telling time too much hassle (I can read it when i want just too lazy)

Im a bit of a watch geek, Ive always been a fan of the Fossil & Relic watches. I have a analog relic chronometer I wear daily. I told my wife its a good thing we dont have a whole bunch of money or id have a drawer full of tag watches lol.

I don't wear watches at all. Was never a fan of them even when I was younger.

Style over function eh? Bet This Nixon guys got an Apple Mac ;)

Nope...no mac here. ;) I had an apple II si when i was in the 11 to 12 grade 1993-94ish. I guess that counts. But ever since then i been on a PC. Thats just my preference (not bashing on apple here). :D The only apple product in my house currently is a dead 1st gen iPod that someone gave my wife other then that i own no apple products. again just my preference :)

remembered i made this post and instead of making whole new post im necroing this one.

Sadly I lost my watch the other day (more so I think it was stolen). I was at the gym after work and left my watch in the gym locker. Apparently I forgot to fully close the padlock, and after my workout I came back to find my watch and wallet gone :( luckily i dont carry any cash on me and i was able to get my cards canceled before any purchases were made.

I have never liked wearing a watch ever. Felt like my wrist was being strangled. Plus I got tired real quick of the hey man do you know what time it is? or do you have the time? It drove me crazy

I had a natural knack of looking out said and tell the time by the brightness outside from the sun. I could be with in about 5 to 10 min. I can really freak my wife out by doing this .

Dont get me wrong I love watches but not the wearing part. I had a Citizen Wingmans watch my mom bought me and it was stolen by my Brother in laws nephew but couldnt prove it. I love that watch and also the reason why I wont buy another. Never know when someone will take it.
