We need one click root for the DROID

Hahaha. Ya know, now that you mention it, I do see a lot of repetition popping up quite often.
 
i know its a stupid question from a newbie, but, when i did the forced update back in march i had to rename the file update.zip on the root of my sd card.. now everything im reading to root my phone is saying to rename the file update.zip and put it on the root of my sd card... can someone tell me what i should do with the 2.1 update that was renamed update.zip... that is what is keeping me from rooting the fear of screwing something up when the msg comes up file already exists??? can someone please help... thank you
 
You don't need the old update.zip anymore if you flash a new rom with SPR, but if you want to keep it, just rename it to updatestock2.1.zip or something like that.
