Welcome Huawei Ascend users!

That's the only thing that says Canvas in it in my whole list of stuff when scrolling through Titanium Backup, but it does not matter anymore because I can't freeze apps either

@jazziete;@koolio

thank you. I went to preferences and changed home screens to 7 but NOTHING. I still have only 3 screens.

Thank you

Hi Scorpion,

It may look like you only have 3 screens but you have 7 if you changed it to seven. Just swipe to the right and when you get to a blank wallpaper then long press and choose a shortcut and place your apps or widget there. Play around with it and you will get it. Once you do we can talk about you doing other stuff with it.

I'm sure the 3 screens you think you have are the ones you had with your stock launcher. Like I said...you have to create the new ones on the blank screens you now have.

Try it. Okay?

:)

Seems I am the only one who got the free version of Titanium? I tried to freeze canvas and it said freezing was only available with the paid version.

I got the free version too. I think that's where I got confused a few days back cause the freeze is not available. I ended up uninstalling some of my system apps and thought I could restore them but can't thru TIBU.

FYI: In 1 of the threads a developer posted a link to his app that lets you freeze system apps. I can't find it tho.

That is not the solution sorry.:D You need to go to menu on the homescreen and go to preferences and go down and select restart Launcher Pro.

In your homescreen, press menu key, preferences, go down and select Restart Launcher Pro

P.S. as a sidenote, theres an update for Launcher Pro. It adds cool homescreen transition effects and a smoother app drawer:)

Hi Joser! The reason I posted this is because of my own experience after first changing to LP from stock. I didn't realize how many screens I had because I had continuous scrolling on and all the screens looked the same to me.

Also, it does have a setting to change the number of home screens. So, it isn't always 'restart launcher' that will correct the prob. Normally LP restarts itself after you make a change anyway. :)

BTW...did you get your phone back so you will have it for the weekend? I hope so!!! :)

Coolio!!! LOL I've been working on my desktop theme and can't wait to share my screenshots with ya'll. Did you create that topic about long press? Are you going to or do you want me to do it?

I think you should! :P

I know it has settings to change the # of homescreens. The poster was having a problem, which was that everytime she changed the # of homescreens setting, nothing would happen and I said restarting launcher pro would fix that

Actually, Launcher pro doesnt normally restart after making a setting change. Only sometimes

It isnt always that a restart will solve the problem, right, but in this case, it is

Launcher pro even notifies you when you change some settings that you need to restart.

I actually don't even use any widgets : \

I only use the power control. I like it simple, so I set the notification bar to hide. And when I need the bar, I swipe up from the app drawer icon and it opens the bar
