I do not know if anyone else is getting this but this bullshit is back in play again.
1st - I haven't visited any sites like it says I did.
2nd - I was checking AF msgs and the browser got took over before I could finish reading.
3rd - I'm running Nougat 7.1.2

No doubt a paid message by one of the AF sponsors, Cheetah Mobile.
@bcrichster, I passed that up the chain. The higher ups need to deal with the ad network to take care of that.

I promise I didn't tap on anything other than my keyboard and was in the middle of writing a reply to a PM when the browser was completely taken over, hence my bringing the subject to your attention. Plus if ya notice, I got the fake "you have a virus!" Yeah.. Ya can't even hit the back button repeatedly to get back to AF site, have to swipe the page off and restart at a bookmark

For information, this came up on AF this morning. I know it's a fake ad, but others might not. Come to AF looking for help with an Android device and end up with something nasty on it instead, nice!!
...and I'm pretty sure that was a Cheetah Mobile Clean Master ad....in exactly the same prose as today's one.
I do normally use ad-blocking on websites, including AF and Phandroid, and so not seen it since.
