Welcome to the new AndroidForums (Round 2)

B14. Unread Favorites

On the Home page I had "Unread Favorites" selected and it did not list any unread threads.

I changed to "Most Recent Favorites" and scanned back through all 10 pages. There were three threads that were marked unread. I responded to two of them.

Well... Not that happy.

I'm used to the biggest avatar being the thread starter but why not have the last poster be the name in that minutes, hours, days, years, posts, data stream (under the title).

B15. Apps & Games

I don’t use games. The new structure everywhere has Apps merged with Games into a single multi-channel forum.

I would find it preferable to have an Apps multi-channel forum and a Games multi-channel forum. This would allow me (and others who share my prejudice) to ignore the fact that Games are there at all.

This is a structure that is supported by App Store.

Would prefixes (filterable) work? Like Apps, Games, Utility, and Wallpaper with everything defaulting to Apps unless otherwise specified. Just a thought as I'm spitballing.

A prefix would be better than nothing. Segregation would be best. I NEVER want to see any of it.

Want games? Go to the Games forum.
Want apps? Go to the Apps forum.
Want utilities? Go to the Apps forum.
Want wallpaper? Go to the Apps forum.

I actually agree with Thom on this here.

Don't get old folks! It finally sunk in to my thick skull how a lot of the redesign works.

I don't know how others feel about this, but I would like to see a new option added to the right drop down on the home page. The third option would be 'watched'. If I set watched for a thread that is not in a favorite category (channel?), it only shows up in the list of threads if I select all instead of favorites. If I add the new channel to favorites then all the other threads in this new channel with posts show up. With this suggestion, only recent, trending, etc.watched threads would be in the list.

Five internet points for whoever can spot what has changed this afternoon (besides TT support dropping).

Edit: Make that 10. 10 internet points.

That was done other day.

Next! I can give a hint. Who wants a hint. It will cost you 3 shackawams. I shall PM whoever wants the hint, and it will be up to them to share on the thread if they wanted to.

Search just changed back to the old way and Toggle Width is once again displayed.

As I zoom in and out ...
The search area changes sometime as an area and sometimes an icon.
Sometimes the buttons at the top right disappear and sometimes they come back.
The toggle width at the bottom sometimes is there and sometimes disappears.

I think I have had enough fun for one night.
