Well its goodbye from me....

My wife had an Orange San Francisco (zte rebrand) and my middle daughter has an Orange Rio (zte rebrand) Both have developed serious faults and Orange refuse to do anything - both were under 12 months old - Orange said manufacturer only offer a 6 months guarantee now. My eldest daughters Rio was working fine until she cracked the screen, replaced at Christmas with a Rio II - that's still going strong.

Wife now has second hand iphone - I have a Desire (even survived falling off the roof of the car at 50mph) Conclusion - you usually get what you pay for.

Wife and kids all on Giffgaff - very good value.
 
Just what will these new phones do that the Sensation can't do?

I am loving my rooted Sensation and can't see why I would want to pay £10-15 extra a month. It has plenty of space and speed is great.

Highly recommend the Android Revolution HD rom for your Sensation (if you don't mind Sense). Used the Giffgaff £10 a month thing and was well pleased with it. Now on Virgin Mobile and happy with the deal I got with them.

Cool. Is there a big rooting scene with the sensation as with the desire then?
 
Seems to be. The rom I mentioned has its own thread on xda and there are some useful guys on it to help folk out. I found rooting quite straightforward and am really enjoying the phone. The thread is enormous and you do find people asking the same old questions and people pestering the dev about updates for the rom but like most threads it is very helpful. To be honest it is the only thread I look at in regards to roms for the Sensation.
