And on a side note, since I've flashed it I've spent hours a day trying to change my MEID and such back to what it was, and I have no luck. I have it completely unlocked with my spc and all, but I just can't get the NVRam to remember anything. I've tried it with LGNPST, CDMA WS, QPST and QXDM. I don't think it just wiped out my NVRam, I think it might have broken it or something. I've run memory leakage tests on the phone itself, and it failed. And I ran a memory debug and mem test in QXDM and they both failed to read the memory too.

There wasn't an option for me to choose a .nvs file. Can I just put it in the spot where I'm supposed to choose a .cvs file?
It's possible but I can't prove it.
This is funny, and a bit embarassing, I called Virgin Mobile and flat out told the first guy who answered that I wanted to MSL in order to allow programming on the phone, he didn't understand what I meant and offered to send me to Tech support and the guy there I told him that I was trying to do ##786# because I was having error 67 and he said that he would get me my MSL put me on hold came back with my MSL and gave it to me. BTW the MSL is the same as the SPC which is something I thought was true but didn't confirm until now, and I confirmed that the MSL does get me into Diag mode

So if the MSL is the same as the SPC we now have a confirmed way to get any phone into Diag mode right, and root these things?
I have put my phone in Diag AND had connected it to CDMA WS. not sure how to pull anything really lol, and kind of afraid to flash because of what happened to Hash, lol. Big scary no cell phone for however long would make me cry, not to mention that there is no SURE way to get the phone back.

You should call them now and tell them your phone is messing up, and say the same stuff I did. Then once your replacement comes in, you can flash it and if it messes up then you can switch to the other one real quick
My replacement just came in. I'm going to mess around with it, but if its possible I would like to not flash it this time. I doubt they will believe that I got two lemons in a row :/

Erm, I think I just broke it. but Idk how...
Possibly just fixed it, you should do something for me Hash, goto your dialer on the broken phone, dial ##786# and click restore, then try what you wrote your SPC to be, it will reset, and possibly your phone will be fixed, (Problem is you wont have everything you had while it was broken)

read the one I wrote, made an edit, I COMPLETELY lost data and SPC was 000000 like yours, but I did the thing I told you to do and it's not like that anymore.

I just talked to virgin mobile, the first time I told them my service wasn't working and tried every 6 digit pin they would give me, and they weren't the spc. Then I called again, and said I was an applications developer and I needed it, and he said that it was company policy to not tell people the code and that even if he wanted to he couldn't because it wasn't on their database -_-
Lol tell them that your getting error 67 and you don't know what to do

I tried. They just gave a 3 digit number, and nothing else. I think they have it in their system or something to not give me the MSL, because the last two times they have asked me if my situation got better(and they were all different people). I've called four times, each with a different made up scenario that required me to have the MSL. Nothing.
When you tell them you are getting error 67 just say you don't know what to do they should try to fix it by telling you to type ##786# into your dial-er and that you should click "Reset Default" then they should give you a 6 digit code(your msl/spc) to punch into the box that comes up. is that what happened, and if they tell you anything else pretend to try and then tell them it didnt work. lol Also DONT do the reset thing or you will flash you phone just pretend like your phone restart and tell them that it is back on, they will tell you to hit activate and then you can pretend to do that or actually do it, it doesn't matter, either way your phone will work, even if its already activated. (don't activate it if you don't plan to use it) I REALLY hope this helped, if not, I am sorry

Salvy did you already flash jcase's rom to the phone? If not could you please do a memory dump?
Otherwise I'll go call VM, play a stupid and tech dumb damsel in distress, get the MSL and try to match it with a hex offset to the memory dump.
Calling to get the MSL to the point where they may suspect, flag us and phone home may seem paranoid but well, at this rate I think it will be a possibility.
Also, never ever ever flash any phone that is non development without unlocking to the com port and making at the VERY least a backup of the data profile and the aaa key with dfx.
If you don't know what that is, look up WakeUpC22 on androidcentral and find my post on optimus V. It has links to asadullahs (SIQ) video on how to make a full data profile and backup on the OV using DFX.
Though it seems like they fixed this issue with a data reset, a previous OV phone died when my usb cord killed itself during flash. (Cord was cheap, SNAPPED, and couldn't take slight bending good usb cords take). Data reset didn't work but luckily i had the aaa key.
