Root Well, lets get the ball rolling

Idk, Im not getting any sort of data service. It says that its searching for service. And i rebooted it and it still says the same thing. But i can still write it for other people to do it and then they can figure out the service part.

Great job, all!
If everything works correctly while rooted in stock, the things I can think of is a custom recovery- maybe Xionia? TiBu, Super User...

What prl does it say? Also do all serials match the hardware sticker? Meid etc.

Try toggling Airplane mode and Data on/off a few times.

PRL is unknown, phone number is unknown, MIN is unknown, MEID(Hex) is all 0's MEID(Dec) is a 0, The Network is searching for service(but the signal strength on that is -128 dBm), mobile network type is unknown, service state is out of service and mobile network state is disconnected. I do not have airplane on or anything like that.

sounds morbid to me.

Also if that doesn't work call virgin support and maybe the tech support knows how to clear this problem. Just don't tell them you flashed it.

i did what you said and it didnt. I'll call them tomorrow. But for now, I'm gonna check out this weird hidden menu I just stumbled upon lol. Thanks for everybodys help! It's been really fun to be a part of this :D

I hope everyone knows that this is still currently unrooted, the idea behind this was to make sure it was possible to restore our phones if it semi bricked them. The big problem is I know believed the phones are taught to break if tampered with and the only way I know to fix is to get your msl and manually do it like VM would over the phone which I am unaware of how to do. And VM seems to hate giving out right about now..possibly and most likely because it would be easier to hack with less problems. I believe vvm will fix this on the phone if you tell them the data isn't working and say nothing about what happened today.. good luck bro and thanks for everything

AND jcase could probably fix it, i don't doubt that guy for anything, AN amazing amount of thanks to you bro, and everything you did.

Ok, so jcase says that my NVRam got wiped out. The Dll file worked, but i guess the flashing program wasnt made to work with the OE. It's fixable, he just needs to get somebody to modify their tool so it will work with this phone.

It likely just got flashed in the wrong mode, talking to someone that knows far more about LG than I about fixing it

from my understanding its fairly common with lg flashing, a lot of people have had to meid repair lg's in the past.

the basic concept is rather simple for rooting if jcase is gunna do it like i think he is. this is just a good backup plan

Ok,

We have factory firmware, and a likely working dll

Phone needs to be in tethering or "modem" mode to flash, do not flash in the download mode unless you have a way to backup/restore nvram.

Not having luck getting the phone into the right mode, if anyone can get the mode set, then the device should show up in Devicemanager under comports when android is running. FLashing should then be safe.

I restored the dll link.
