usually this works fine for all the sites I visit, but your new sidebar is kicked downstairs... widened, the sidebar behaves but it's all too wide for my taste

At the risk of beating a dead horse, the next few pics show other forum sites with my usual browser width and then with a widened browser. The other guys behave either way, the new AF shoves everything around:

Thought I'd try the OG PHANDROID-A/F app again,to see if the forum side was functional again (no).

Anyhoo,as before (this is still w/the OG app),cannot even log-in,but,if you select "Create an account",you'll be re-directed to the new A/F site.

Unlike Tapatalk, which already supported XenForo, the original app was only ever designed with vBulletin in mind. So it won't become functional again, short of Phases and Rob deciding to revrert to that app over Tapatalk and having an update developed.

Bummer. Guess it's goodbye old Phandroid app. Really liked its simplicity. AND the fact that you could access both the forums and the news feed from one app. Now you need two apps for that. More clicks

Without suggesting that this should be top priority at the moment, can we get a little compromise on the signatures. I think it is good to limit is to text, limit text size, no color, no graphics and other distractions to the conversation and I applaud you for that. However, the text length limit is too draconian. What I think sigs are most useful for, and what I use mine for, is to give a complete description of devices, OS and ROM versions, kernels, etc. Having that information there is really helpful when asking for or giving help because it provides a lot of context for troubleshooting. Just my 2 cents (probably worth about half that )

Is there a way to turn the member photos/avatars or whatever they are called off?
Less disruptive if I don't have the avatars showing. It was possible on the other forum.

@EarlyMon ... did you happen to test your phone that was running gingerbread? Just curious, i've tried several other browsers to no avail I am not complaining or anything, i know you guys have your hands full. Another forum had an upgrade several months ago, and it was a couple of weeks for those of us on low legacy devices before the bugs were ironed out.
Just want to report, still having skinny posts, i have no editor, all i can do is post, and post screenshots. There is no way to post links. When i click on more options, it just takes me to where i can preview my post. (See screenies)

Other than that, i think i'm starting to like the new look, just miss desktop view, but I'll get used to it

@rootabaga finding your forums should be easy once you star them. (Go into a forum, click start to left of name). Then you can get to them from the "My Forums" link in the subnav bar (light blue).

There is no 'desktop view' as this IS this desktop view. It is responsive to screen size. I suppose we could duplicate the theme and remove all responsiveness and call that "desktop" but that would be a fair size project and probably not something that would be supported by Rob. I think we'd rather try to gather feedback and adjust the condensed versions to include what is most wanted by users.

hold on to your pants I am just logging into the browser and notice a few changes. One I Dont see a edit and I Dont have all the participated threads showing. I can't complain cause the staff has done their best with ironing the bugs out . LETS BE THANKFUL AND BE PATIENT . REMEMBER THIS IS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND we all have families and I know the staff has some families they want to spend time with . and also its Blackfriday now I know I may see another gift under my tree for x-mas and it may say the from FORUMS and it maybe a CAR a new computer or what ever it brings . I know we should give our thanks to the staff and chip in to give a big present for x-mas that maybe anything including the option to have a worry free holiday that they can spend time with family and friends and not worry about this upgrade to the forums . thanks again for all the hard work you guys have put into this upgrade for all of the users to enjoy. ​

Okay guys, maybe this will help, i hope!
I went into my browser settings and put the text size set to small, then set the default zoom to far, now, i put the wife's glasses on cause everything is so tiny but, now "My Forums " and "My Posts" are showing but as soon as i zoom in a little so its readable, they disappear. Also still have no editor or edit button, hope this helps!
Oh yea, posts still skinny scrolling down.

In a browser view, tick '+quote' underneath the posts you wish to wrote. You'll see those buttons turning green.
Hit 'insert quotes' underneath the reply box.

That's not true at all its some good with the browser sites such as it keeps a draft . yes its saving a draft for all the SLOW typers so if you time out hey its still there I love that. But everyone makes mistakes yes everyone no one is perfect and that said to be computers are also not perfect they have bugs that is made when two or more script commands Dont agree . we see this everyday in our world roadrage two Dont agree one fast one slow . so let's help the staff out by being patient and helpful . they can help us as we help them. Just a simple can you provide and wait for a response.​
