What all API changes can be expected from Android key lime pie ?

Apparently it was all under-the-hood changes that supposedly improved security and performance

Haven't noticed anything other than my phone periodically prompting me to enter the PIN for the SIM card. Something it had never done except on startup before ..

A non-4.3 related change was the remote tracking (well, display the location on a map) and erase functionality .. which would be great if the remote tracking ever worked. Which it doesn't. For obvious reasons, I haven't tried the erase function ;)

As for KLP - haven't even heard rumours of what it's supposed to do :D but I would imagine that approved devs have to have details of API changes by now ..

Lol well the aparent battery life improvements arent showing themself to me yet but im running an alpha build :D
Im getting roughly half the screen time i got on 4.2.

Anyone got anything theyd LIKE to see in KYP that cant just be done via the play store or a custom rom?
Either i have no imagination or android has really matured because i cant think of anything

How about a Star Trek stunner .. or medical scanner .. or doors that go whoosh! .. not quite sure how they fit on a phone ..

Yeah: I'm fresh out of ideas, too :D

EDIT: how about a music player that handles podcasts and music seperately and doesn't require 10 taps and 16 sweeps to do absolutely anything?

Lol :D
that could a playstore upgrade though. What about bare bones android?
A return to app2sd would probably be welcomed by a lot of peeps

D'you know: I didn't even realise that was gone

My Nexus 4 doesn't have an SD card so I just assumed that was the reason it wasn't there :D

Yeah that defo wont be one of the changes. I heard a rumour that samsung were gona make it part of touchwiz for the s4 because people are moaning about the internal storage.. is that true? Would google really allow that? They already let samsung use the multiwindow feature (in a very limited way) even though they warned cyanogen not to.
Thats actually something id like in the KYP API, split-screen :)

What are the chances Android 5.0 ends up looking exactly like the Play Store and various apps? if that is what is going to happen i'll stay with 4.2.2. i didn't climb all the way to the top of the Android just to have WebOS

Cool thats kinda what i thought mate thanks
In that case i stand by my split-screen suggestion :)
If its an api then dev's can write it into their app the same as the allowed apps in samsung's multi window feature
