I will be getting my Droid X in the mail in a week or two and was wondering what apps you would recommend

Drive safe.ly - reads text and emails
Vlingo - voice search
Dolphin HD - web browser
Dropbox - moves files from your pc to your phone and visa versa
Mixzing - music app

Facebook - the "official" one works just fine for me
Twitter - I prefer Twidroyd, but have been using Tweetdeck lately
Foursquare

Tweetdeck is a beta, but will allow you to access, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Google Buzz, and Myspace (I think?) all from the same app.

AppBrain and go from there.
Too many to fathom and too many differing opinions on what is good and 'cool'.

IMHO the coolest app ever is Google Sky. Absolutely amazing.

Load AppBrain and go thru the Hot Apps and then go from there.
