What are the differences between the .595 leak and the upcoming Gingerbread OTA? Has anyone heard? I'm not sure if I'm going to bother SBF'ing back to get the OTA. I'm loving the .595 leak!

the ota is the ota

we must wait for the sbf file of the ota so that we can have a safe restore point
 
impossible to say...nobody we know of has gotten their hands on the update yet to really take a look...there is obviously something different or as you said the build number would not have changed...

its likely nothing much hence the build number only changing .001 but we shall see...
 
The latest GB for the Nexus is 2.3.4, .595 is 2.3.3.

2.3.4 was rolled out to address several issues with 2.3.3, one issue resolved being the 3G dropping out after switching between wifi and 3g. Myself and others have had this issue with all of the latest GB leaks. I'm hoping this will be part of the OTA for the X.
 
Most likely, bugs found after .595 were fixed in OTA.

OTOH, maybe all they did was break root. :D
 
Now that the OTA is out, does anyone know what the differences between .595 and .596 are? I just installed .596, and it seems exactly the same to me.
 
I didn't have trouble with 573, but 596 seems a bit more polished. :D

Been freezin' bloat on/off all day. Can't wait for a few roms to come out based on this. I'll probably grab the first one to come along. :D
