So attached is what was waiting for me when I got home today. Completely and totally surprised.
Had to dig out packing slip and saw that this was shipped straight from Redmond. It said sdcc sweepstakes... I spammed a bunch of pics from Xbox lounge in San Diego 2 months ago and never gave it another thought. No notification, no email, nothing.

Color me surprised

Decided to start Dead Space 3 for the heck of it since it was free on PS3.

Seems ok, didn't play it for long. Wishing had a bigger drive song could keep more of playstation freebies installed

Nice swag!

I'm playing Remember Me on PS3. It is pretty fun, but it could have been even better. It seems like the developers had planned to add more interactivity but ran out of time or money.
 
Anyone play Shadow of Mordor? I think the nemesis system makes it arguably the best Assassins Creed game to date ;)

I started on the Android version and quickly decided I needed a mouse. It's difficult to place goo when your finger is in the way.
 
Still playing Destiny. Master Rahool is a dick. Every time I get a purple engram, he decodes it to Ascendant Energy to upgrade Legendary weapons I don't have.

Also, in to season 14 with Hyde FC in Football Manager 2012.

And I started a new one on the PC I've wanted to play for ages called Don't Starve.

how is destiny? I never even watched a video about that game? Is it truly another halo game?
 
Aside from the fact that Master Rahool doesn't want me to level up past 24, it's great.

It was broken on release, but Bungie have done a lot of work in listening to user feedback and analysing their own internal stats to make the game better.

It's nothing like Halo, some of the Titan class armour does look a little Master Chiefesque, but that's about it.

I wouldn't have thought it would be like halo. Halo is a legendary game. Lots of history and innovation for the gaming world derived from halo.

MR sure is scum of the earth. I picked up an exotic engram from Xur, but MR gave me a chest piece that was for another class - but I did get some Motes out of it, so that was ok.

Have you bothered with any of the factions? I've a New Monarchy Titan Mark and all they seem to sell is stuff that costs crucible marks and I suck at the crucible.

I'm thinking of just going free style and getting gear via the vanguard quatermaster.

Yup. I'm just about level 3 with Dead Orbit. I have 295 more rep to go.

Vanguard gear is good though. I'd love to have a Shadow Price (Legendary AR), but that will come in due time.

I'm looking forward to finishing the last two bosses from Vault of Glass tonight. Haven't had any time, so I've had to wait while all my friends have done it multiple times :(

I would say thematically they're going for something similar, but gameplay-wise it's more like borderlands.
 
I finally went back and re played Dead Space. First time there was a glitch that locked me in the control room at the end of chapter 11 (out of 12). I only had one save, so the only way I could finish the game was to start the while thing over. That was in 2011 lol. So finally finished it and now playing Dead Space 2. I love these games.

Definitely one of my favorite game franchises for that genre. It's the only game that has legitimately scared me since the OG Resident Evil.
 
I have just discovered the wonder that is Black Mesa!! :D

Half-life was one of my favourite games of all time and I have very fond memories of playing it years ago,

To have to game running on the half life 2 engine with completely recreated enviroments is just amazing!

Only downer is no support for 360 controller but there are probably ways around that.

I really need to give this a go. I remember seeing it years ago when they started working on it. I didn't know if it was every going to be completed. I've played HL2 and some of episode 1, but not the first game.

Right now I'm playing Destiny on my brother's Xbone. I think my expectations were sufficiently lowered beforehand that's it's been enjoyable so far.
