I've just bought Starting At Zero: His own story by Jimi Hendrix.

Part autobiographical apparently, I saw a few snippets in one of the papers over here last week and it seemed pretty good.

I pick up the occasional humble bundle in e-books, and never go wrong.

I have a couple hundred paperbacks to read through on a singular basis....

Definitely will check him out. Looked him up on Fantastic Fiction. He wrote Eiger Sanction. Thanks!

I didn't realize that - ok, time to go back and read that one. :)

That's a great story - and there's a sequel??

The Loo Sanction

Definitely need to get busy over here.

PS - if you like Westerns, then Incident At Twenty Mile, definitely.

Catching up on early 90's Batman comics. The best so far? The introduction of the General in Detective Comics

I remember when the Superman comics used to be $.10 and the publisher printed an apology when they raised them to $.12.

Currently in between reads. No idea what to read next. I like spy thrillerss annd police/PI novels.

These was an awesome book I found in a seat back when I was cleaning planes.

Bout a former dea agent that was in prison, but got released to infiltrate a cult or something. Really great book...

Think it was called Heat... Will have to look it up, don't remember the author

I got Shibumi. It is interesting because I have been reading the Quarry series by Max Allen Collins. Quarry is an assassin. I looked for Incident At Twenty Mile, but it does not appear to be available in ebook. It sounds good, though. :)

Heat sounds good too,NightAngel, if you can remember the author and title.

Thanks for the heads up! I recently read Beer Money by Dani Amore. It was really good.

I can never remember his name! lol

Thankfully Early found it :)

Seriously, 3 or 4 times I have tried to recommend this book and I can never remember who wrote it.

Really great read though

It is, usually find trash books and romance novels when I cleaned planes. When I found this book I literally smashed it the next day (lots of down time at that job, lol)

Shibumi is next up, then maybe Heat. Someone gave me a Harlan Coben novel on a plane once, but he didn't seem to impressed with it and I never read it.

My parents are ALWAYS raving about how awesome Harlan Coben is. Never got around to reading his books though. They talk about him so much I almost turned off by the very thought of reading his stuff! lol

Never enough time....

I'm trying to get through Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch, book 3 of The Gentlemen Bastards, right now. So far it is as good as the first two. Should have read the first two over again though, lots of details I'm foggy about.
