The OG Nexus 7. Been sitting idle for a long time and just isn't running so well. Trying a rom or two real quick to see if I can shake the dust off the innards.

Are you up to 4.3 yet? That was supposed to really improve on the sluggishness, since it added trim support.

I was going to wait until SmoothROM got up to speed, but the dev lost his material. I gave the Beanstalk a try, but I wouldn't call it an improvement. Going to give a stock rooted rom a try.
And of course SmoothROM just released a 4.3
Really just want stability at this point. Full time RN school, Working, and with a toddler means I'm too busy to fool around too much.

Buzzsaw is my favorite. i remember when that came out. i was too young to watch it in the theater. Must've seen it a hundred times when it came out on VHS and I could rent it from Mr. Movies.

Yah my understanding was that the OG n7 was so slow because it never emptied out old storage, so it crawled when writing new... 4.3 added trim and most people reported that within a few days of installing 4.3, everything sped up nicely. So something to try

Though I enjoyed the remake of Total Recall, either way I'd really prefer the original. I'd love to see the original rereleased in that fancy new ultra HD.

Ugh, I really need to go to bed.
Just got back from the pet shop. Had to spend all morning researching dog food because the stuff I was feeding the pups reduced the bag by 6 lbs and is charging the same price. Yeah, a 30 lb bag is now a 24 lb bag. Umm. NO! I love my dogs but hello! I have 2 German Shepherds to feed and 6 lbs a bag adds up to a lot of lost meals. UGH. So, they will try a new food and see how it goes. UGH. Outrageous.
