Trying to figure out why when I moved my friends pictures from her SD/DCIM/Camera folder to her SD_ext/DCIM/Camera folder with EStrongs, they disappeared?! WTF?

Sometimes it has to "reindex" and show up later. did you perform a search?..turnnoff and on and then give a few min to reindex. Make sure theres no ".nomedia" file in the destination folder
Tried a search, I just happened to write down one full file name before doing all this, but alas, no.

Do internal sd's mount like the external ones do?
They should mount the same. Hey, try this. Install that "Solid brouserl, I will look for the link. When I installed it awhile back, it retrieved by indeximg, some pics I thought I lost. I take it that the friend doesnt have MyBackupPro installed with a backup of pics?

Appears to be a corrupt file or something. Surely theyre not physically deleted. Did you browse the AF "How to recover deleted pics" discussion"? Any help in there?
