like i said in my previous post, i use most of the biggest browsers, but just to make a little personal preference comparison between my fav two, ff and chrome:

chrome > ff
- resizeable text input fields
- much, much lighter
- each tab is its own process (apparently ff4 will also be like that, but that's in the future)

ff > chrome
- webkit makes some links work funky or not at all with the middle button
- fox' address bar functionality is more to my liking
- open download without perm. save (my main qualm about chrome)

i might have (read probably have) forgot something from either list

I've been using Firefox for years and still love it. Got to admit, I'm a little Chrome-curious, but I'm too comfy with FF for now. Work forces me to use IE. The browser is soooo slow and clunky, I have to wonder if anyone other than the totally computer ignorant (like my mom, who stubbornly clings to it) still use it.

Firefox for me although i must confess i would probably switch to chrome if someone would make a decent formfiller add on for it.

I'm trying out Firefox 4.0 Beta 1. Aside from the fact that they copied Chrome's style a bit, I like it. Seems faster to me.

I use Firefox (just upgraded to the 4.0 beta) but I looked at Opera 10.6 - didn't like it. I use Chrome from time to time, quite like that. If I could get the equivalent add-ons for Chrome that I have on Firefox, I seriously would consider swapping to it permanently.

I used Firefox for years, but always liked Chrome. I just hated how when it was still in beta for extensions that the adblockers really didn't work correctly. Now that it's out of beta and the adblockers work, I use it on all my machines. Plus Chrome to Phone is pretty awesome. :D

I've always been using Chrome since the first beta. I liked being part of the <1% when Chrome was still very much in its infancy.

Mozilla had the FF4 layout in planning and idea forme since before Chrome came out. That said, ideas only go so far when you don't have an actual program or whatever to use them. :P

I'm running Firefox 4.0 Beta 2 pre. It's updated every night, hence why it's called a nightly, with new patches/features/bugs/whatever. It's quite nice. :P There are a few things coming within probably the next week that will have a huge effect on the speed of the browser. Such things as retained layers and "fatvals" will attribute to this.

I'm making a concerted effort today to use chrome just to see if I like it. So far so good...

Tweeked firefox, my old man did it, trust me nothing is faster than that. I have no hard technical evidence to back up my opinion, but when you click on the icon and say a heavy loading website like bbc comes up fully loaded in less than a blink of an eye, does it need to be faster?
