I ordered a Trident Aegis - LG Revolution Aegis Case - LG Revolution - LG - Case the day I bought the Esteem.
I have the same make and model for my Nook Color and love it. I couldn't think of having a phone like this without a good case.

I just order the Red & Black KRAKEN 2 Series case today ... I cant wait to get it ill post pic up when i do .. Also i found a You Tube Video Of a lady that bought one For Her Esteem and it look good on it that's what made me order it today..

Hate using a case for mine, haha. I just slide it into a Waterfield suede jacket, when I'm not using it.

Best cases I've EVER OWNED. I've bought many many many many cases off Ebay. I like the TPU type but I found these from this guy and they are AMAZING. It's got tpu sides and a harder plastic that covers the back center.

I have the Kraken also in black with holster. Someone else recommended that case and I paid $25 for mine. I hate to say it, but that case sucks. The left side of the case won't stay snapped together and took very little effort to snap the belt clip off of the holster.

I only use a holster cuz of my extended battery
My sister has the extended battery, only reason why I didn't get it was because i thought there wasn't a case for it. So, i may have to look into an extended battery now haha... Thanks PNut, also this is totally off topic, but do you recommend a root? I've been experiencing random reboots lately, i just bought this phone friday of last week :/
Does the phone have the ZVD (latest) firmware? If not you need to update the phone.

Seriously? First its $40. Second it's friggin massive. I've never seen a reason for these big cases; otterbox, kraken, etc....
Defeats the purpose of being slim I would say. lol. but to each his own. My $3 cases are clean and do the job perfectly.

I got mine for $21 shipped on Amazon and its not as big as it looks & it come with a holster and kick stand made on the case which i think is kool lol.. and i know when it falls it will be ok ..

It sounds like you had a Defective One .. You should of sent it back for a new one be-leave me im sure the factory don't charge $40 for a case that dose not work good .. I hope mine Is good if not i dont play games that sh#t will go back ..

Having dropped my phone a few times, I would NOT sacrifice my reinforced protective skin cover for extra battery life (i.e., an extended battery.)
I also have a Trident case in black. My phone has dropped onto the ground and landed with its screen facing down, and the phone made a huge "POP!" sound when it landed. I thought the screen was gone. I picked up the phone and turned it over, and I was surprised that the screen was intact without a scratch... because the rubber edges of the Trident around the screen had absorbed the shock and protected the screen from making contact with the ground.
I would love to use an extended battery, but I just have not been able to find a reinforced protective skin cover that would fit a LG Esteem with an extended battery.

I went off the first link. Regardless...............I'm still not paying $15 for a case. I pay $1 for screen protectors and $3 bucks for cases that work just FINE. But still..........to each his own. lol
