What case do you use?

I apologize if this question has been already answered. I'm curious what case you are all using for your galaxy note? I'm getting ready to pre-order on best buy and need to figure out how to protect it. Best buy is offering a free case but it doesn't look hardy enough for me.

I'm really hard on my phones. We have wood floors in the house and the phone seems to fall on the floor more often than i'd like. I currently have the otter box around my iphone and although its ugly it has saved my phone from countless drops on the floor and the driveway.

Which was a terrible purchase, it gets dirty easily and doesn't protect the top or bottom of the device. Then recently I had purchased the SGP Ultra Capsule, which is a really awesome case. It even comes with a Steinheil Ultra Crystal screen protector. I couldn't ask for a better case, it's thin and fits very well.

since i ordered my Note though AT&T, i'm not going to order a case yet since i've read on the various forums (xda) that the AT&T version might be thinner than the int'l version.



no accessories for me!

Surprisingly enough the ultra capsule case I bought was made for the AT&T version. It fits my international note perfectly, so i highly doubt it will be thinner.

Very good product, and fastest shipping you can get, it beats Amazon shipping. Most vendors on Amazon or eBay are Hong Kong or China based, and you have to wait for 15 to 25 business for the stuff to get to you. Always trust a US based vendor! Your peace of mind ...

I used to buy grips and guide rods for my Sig Sauers from this web site and I have known them for years, and I am surprised that they also carry mobile accessories. But the case is also good stuff!

Here is what I use from this company Samsung Mobile Devices Cases Protectors ...

I will also consider get a hard case, such as the wine red color 110000, as it is a hard case, and you don't want to add more thickness to the already big Galaxy Note.

I'm looking for a flip case for my new Note but practically all of them have magnetic clasps - which is a complete no-no for the digital compass at the very least. The official Samsung one, which replaces the rear cover, is a neat design but I hear feedback that it starts to fall apart after only a few weeks of use. I'm also a bit worried that the corners and sides of the device aren't protected. Has anyone else here got a recommendation that doesn't involve magnets?

I had a hard case for my HTC Desire, but these don't protect the screen. The Note has a huge and, by some comments here, it is vulnerable to scratching. I don't like stick on screen protectors, so a flip-type case is the obvious solution. I thought about the official Samsung case, very neat and maintains the slim dimensions of the Note, but many owners report the same thing; it gets tatty very quickly and it doesn't appear to offer much side and corner protection if you accidentally drop your Note. The one I went for in the end is very affordable, looks more durable than the Samsung one and doubles as a landscape mode stand. I hope it is as good as it looks :)
