What do you do for a living?

Fire Alarm and Security tech. Use the phone to watch signals come in, look up part sheets and check compatability. Immensely useful!
 
I'm a high school band director in Kansas.

I found a couple of great music apps in the Market. I use the gStrings tuner and Musical Pro's metronome quite a bit in my classroom. I use my Eris primarily for email, calendar/to-do, games, and the web. Once in a while I even make a phone call with it!
 
My official title is Director of Strategic Communications/Database Manager. My real title should be RL spammer/digital janitor. I push out about a million pieces of paper junk mail a year, manage our CRM database and if there's electricity in it they make me fix it when it breaks.
 
former marine MP. full-time student, dad, and husband. also just broke into the private security sector. bullets and bankrolls, here i come!

i use my droid to hit unsuspecting old ladies.....doesn't affect the battery too much.
 
I keep waiting for a real life "Mystery Shopper". I see the ads in the newspapers and in junk mails all the time. Don't lie about not falling for it.
 
Retired military pilot. Now hauling people and boxes on contract for the State Department. Since most of my travel is in third world type locations, I use my Eris to taste test my food and water and as a bullet deflector in the cockpit.

It's really not a career type job. I actually did it before and my Grandmother did it (actually for about a few months for malls / supermarkets). I did it for Starbucks, and got paid pretty good for it, but only went to a few locations and that was it.
