What do you drive?

I have an 08 Impala, boring as hell fleet car,
2010 Cross Country, fun to ride, but an old man bike as well.

Vortech supercharger. Headers, no cats, flowmasters dumped, 4.10 gears, and a crap load of other mods that my wife don't understand my thinking process as a human being. Meh. :D

Can the moderater that warned me for disrespectful posting in this thread please answer my PM and show me anywhere in this thread where I was disrespectful?
I didnt relize asking simple questions to a person about his car that he should know right off the top of his head( if he is telling the truth) was disrespectful. I think he got caught in a lie, hense he has not answered any of the questions posed in this thread. Very simple questions that the owner of an 800HP boosted V-8 should know like the back of his hand.
I didnt relize calling BS on someone was "disrespectful"
Now watch I will probably get another warning or ban just for this post even though it breaks no rules.

I like to change cars...a lot because I like to autocross\solo and abuse them. Had mustangs and lots of mazda3's but right now im in a mazda2\demio

I have total suspension travel envy, and my man card somehow feels smaller now. I have kids now, so, no 4WD for me. :-(

I do have a 2008 Toyota Highlander, and I do still have this, though:

Wow 800 HP is a lot out of a boosted V-8. Sounds like a lot of modifications went into whatever vehicle that was. The current crop of Mustang Shelbys and Corvette ZR1s are around 500-700 HP off the showroom? Who posted those kinds of numbers, I'm curious to know how much money getting that kind of power costs.

Here are my primary rides:

The newer edition Mustang Bullitt was nicely styled with its conservative touch. If I could swing $40K then I wouldn't mind buying the new Mustang 302 laguna seca.

Granted I'm not sure I'd rock this color combination, but ironically it would match the color scheme of my current phone and laptop, but a straight guy color coordinating is never a good idea. (And for the record I DIDN'T color coordinate my phone and laptop!)

Actually he said he had an 800HP Super Snake, which I imagine is a Dodge Viper with a V10. :)

I am more than happy with my 520HP + Corvette Z06.

I think Ford also had a Super Snake that was a Shelby version. If I remember, it was a Mustang that wasn't covered by warranty but was a Shelby custom job (You take your Mustang Shelby to their facilities and kiss your warranty goodbye). 800-HP 2012 Ford Shelby Super Snake: New York Auto Show Preview

That's it. I'm not sure where but on a track (and even then not so sure) you'd be able to use that much horsepower. Would be fun to take on the Autobahn though. Speaking of, I sure wish the U.S. had a version of the Autobahn here, or that our drivers would at least adopt some of the Autobahn rules, like if you're in the far left lane and someone gets behind you, you move over to the right lane, you know the common sense rules......

Yeah, that 800HP is useless with street tires anyway. A mild 400-500hp car would get more traction and win a drag race on the street against an 800hp car.

As would a nice square torque curve. :D I'd like to see how an 800 HP car would feel on the streets and how it would pin you in your seat, if you can keep the front pointed forward for the entire run. Something tells me 800 HP could probably break the rear end loose even in top gear.

Especially with an old fashioned, outdated live rear axle. ;)~ I have that problem with my Camaro. Goes well in a straight line though. But, when I know I have some twistys, I prefer the Corvette.
