What do you think Samsung will do compete....

No clue at this point. The non-US markets are less sensitive about this it seems. THe US models may get something else. It really depends on the performance of 2.3+ and the memory vendor when it get's benchmarked internally and we evaluate the longevity of the memory. Perhaps if we used memory that had better error correction or block recovery, the use of a more aggressive file system would be tolerated. QA is a bitch :-)
Great stuff as always. Love the insider info :D
Fair to assume you guys will actually have 2.4 on by this time this is out [summer I assume]. Also any word on the death of RFS:p

Galaxy S2 was finally announced at MWC and it looks like I was right on the processor. It has Exynos (Orion) in it. However, according to this early benchmark on it, its performance seems a little disappointing compared to Tegra 2. Maybe Samsung has not fully optimized 2.3 gingerbread for the demo version yet...
LG Optimus 2X looks pretty good here and I wonder where Optimus 3D (OMAP4) will be positioned here.

Honestly, Samsung will have no problem with competing, as long as they can start supporting their devices in a more timely manner!
Speaking of Support The Epic is getting updated on the 21st just like the guy said and also said the Fascinate would be upgraded a day later!? Should would be geeting excited??

At this point I will get excited when it actually happens! I love my Fascinate, but have learned not to hold my breathe either.

Same here good thing i have and upgrade in June, so many phones are gonna have my eyes with the exception of the stealth and Thunderbolt
