What does everyone think of the HTC Swype clone?

I've been using it and it seems a bit sluggish compared to swype, but I've yet to try it on the DNA. I'm going to stick with it a bit and see how it works out. Interested to hear other opinions.

I was surprised how well the swiping keyboard works. But I'm trying swiftkey after my nephew today raved about it. It doesn't seem to have the swiping feature but I'm liking it's word predictiveness.

Iused the HTC clone for the first 3 days as a test. It was better than I had expected, but still no match for the original Swype.

For some reason the HTC Swype clone wasn't "swyping" for me and instead of messing with it I just installed the Swype beta. The Swype beta works perfectly - highly recommended.

You have to enable the swyping feature of the HTC keyboard. They should be given credit for a pretty good attempt at swype technology (I wonder if they licensed some code from Swype?) Still, I find Swype beta better ;)

I'm old school 1 finger tapping so just the default setup works for me. I would not trust these fingers to swiping anything. LOL :D

Swiping is coming soon to SwiftKey.

I swype in portrait and tap in landscape. HTC keyboard works great for this. The base dictionary isn't as good as Switfkey but after a few days it learns pretty well and the predictions get pretty accurate.
