What does the lock icon mean?

[hajimeabc]

Hi, I have been using the Note for four days. Today, something strange is going on. Sometimes when I playback the videos (e.g. videos from the Gallery), an icon similar to a lock appear at the top corner of the screen. Whenever that icon appears, the keys to control the video playback do not show up. I have to wait for the video to finish playing before I can gain control of the Note. What is that? Why it suddenly shows up today? Any way to prevent this problem from happening? Thanks.

It's a feature to stop accidental activation of controls while playing back video, pressing the power button will unlock it (I use it when playing video for my toddler to stop him messing with it and accidentally putting on Ichi The Killer or something....).
