That's what concerns me. Companies like Microsoft and Apple pull these infringement things way too often, IMO. Others have TRIED to come out with a 2 in 1 and get stopped in their tracks by Microsoft.All of those phones are well past the support from Samsung,its moot as that goes.
Besides,you can get a newer/better phone for much less than what these cost new.
The only reason to get such a device now is if you have a special affinity for the named devices....
In the bigger picture,perhaps this is setting some sort of precedent,which may affect more models at a later date.
Hard to say,I'm not up to date on all the particulars of the on-going p***ing contest known as Samsung vs Apple.
The case vs the phones mentioned today may not have the same alleged patent infringements in later released models.

Your term "precedent" is the key word. There's plenty of opportunity for all these days and competition encourages greater product and lower prices.
Why pick on OLD OLD OLD phones/devices such as those? Why do they care, is the question?????
