What if i wanted to uninstall velocity unroot and install the 2.2 update. Then reinstall velocity 1.1 on the froyo 2.2. Would that benefit my phone or be ba.
Also how would i got about doing it if its a good thing.

This will be of no benefit because when you flash a new ROM it overwrites the old one. So when you install 2.2.2 it will overwrite velocity and when you go back to Velocity it will overwrite 2.2.2.

Just be patient, Velocity 1.2 will be based on 2.2.2 according to the developers

I just got a replacement, updated all the way to 2.2.2 just sop that when 1.2 comes out the radio matches. No performance difference. But im a little OCD haha

If / when you flash Velocity 1.1 over 2.2.2 the radio will go back to VS740MVD I believe, at least it did for me. I believe the only thing Verizon did to the radio for 2.2.2 was edit it to display a E instead of a D but the software is otherwise identical.
