Help What is controlling my volume?

How can I tell which app is controlling my volume? Every weekend notification volume goes to zero and returns to 100% volume some times early Sunday AM. Phone volume changes to 30% sometime around noon every weekday.
I've checked my profile manager and phone/sms apps. No luck.

what android version? Try and find something in the settings called "blocking mode". It sounds like thats whats doing it

Hmm. Idk. All i can think of is, just before its due to change, boot into "safe mode" which disables all the apps you've downloaded, then see if it still happens

Also, just as an experiment lol, what happens when you change the system time and date to a weekend?

A few answers to some questions may help us help you :)

Is the phone rooted?

Are there any apps you can think of that would have profiles set that could do what you're describing?

Have you tried a factory reset? May be kind of extreme, but that could tell us a lot

Safe mode is alot like it's Windows counterpart. It temporarily disables user apps so just the core is left. This allows for better debugging by eliminating "external" factors. In JB, hold the Power Off button and a safe mode prompt will come up (assuming Samsung didn't break that)
