Root What is the Gallery and SMS program in DeFrost 6.1a?

i am using defrost 6.1 ROM in my Desire

i like the SMS program and the Gallery,

what are those programs called so i can download and use in my stock Rom?

mms.apk and gallery.apk theyre the standard android ones (i.e vanilla). extract them from your rom.zip
 
the gallery has this floating look to it.. so it is different from my stock ROM

also the keyboard lay out is different from my stock SMS Rom..

maybe i should have asked what keyboard it is?

my stock keyboard has the numbers intergrated into so you have to long press to get numbers

the Defrost 6.1A has the shift to go to numbers keyboard and a built in smiley face button on the bottom right corner..

That's the HTC IME mod keyboard. You can theme your own at WWW.gimpsta.com. choose hi res. Kitchen

The gallery is the android gallery. The desire has the HTC gallery
 
yes, is that not the standard android gallery? It doesnt matter anyway, he can just extract it from the defrost rom he already has.

no its not the standard gallery, galler 3d used to be called cooliris as it was made by the same person who made the iphone one.

i think you are refering to the flan gallery that came with the nexus, they are indeed made to look and behave the same however vanilla froyo is just a basic scroll gallery

just found it and installed it.

that is it !.. probably going to be used alot because i am a photographer and i need a good fast gallery to show my clients what poses it get into..

you might want the hi res version from xda devs, it runs a little quicker as it doesnt compress the images (only if you have a decent sdcard)
