Root What is the maximum/minimum you can overclock the triumph?

I don't usually overclock my Triumph because I can barely make it through a day while underclocking but... I've had it go up to 2ghz before crashing after using it for a bit. I usually have the minimum clock speed set to 61mhz and the max set to 768mhz. Occasionally I'll have to bump it up to full speed to watch videos and stuff.

And what is the most stable overclock settings?

This is dependant on your perticular phone. When the processor manufacture makes the processor there are variations in the sets that allow some to run faster than others. If you find your phone runs fine at say, 1.8GHz, then I would back it off to maybe 1.5. If it runs all the way up to 2.0, then maybe 1.6 or 1.7. I wouldn't run it at the top stable speed all of the time because of (I think it's called) electrical migration. That's where the push of current causes the atoms to move within the micro circuits. That will be the end of the phone. No more flashing.

Do you leave your data on all of the time? Also, what governor are you using?

I see, so it varies for each phone. The reason I'm asking is because my friend is willing to sell me his triumph for $50 but I already have the optimus elite. Optimus elite can be overclocked to 1.6ghz perfectly stabled with no overheating or rebooting and it's like that for pretty much every phone. IDK, maybe I shouldn't buy my friends Triumph but thanks guys!

From my experience with multiple Triumphs, to play it safe do not go past 1400ish. Pushing to 1500 has given me reboots and overheating. Also, it may be a good idea to use SetCPU with profiles and have the overclocking enabled only when the screen is on. Saves juice and prevents most overheating.

My Triumph locked up once at 2 Ghz, but was stable at 1.8Ghz, but to get a day out of the battery I only have the max set to 1.2Ghz now.

Yeah I leave it on most of the time unless I remember to turn if off. The majority of the battery drain is because of me being in buildings that don't get signal/ not very good signal. I use the on demand governor, I've tried a few others but didn't really notice a difference.

I think airplane is going to be your friend.
