The one next to the EVDO icon. It looks like a reticule.

If a reticule is the same as a bullseye that's what it is. It's so the government can find you and snipe you at will. Turn it off ASAP.

does anyone know the link to the thread that shows a list of the icons? I've seen it somewhere but i cant find it now!
 
Also how do you turn it off for others to know!! it is the Menu settings/Location/location Settings, you can turn it on or off, but still keeps 911 active

I have a question (perhaps a dumb question) about the text above the up and down arrows that appear at the top of the Hero screen. I notice that in this screenshot, the text shows as 'EvDo'. However, on my Hero, my text alternates between 'Ev' and '1x'. I live in San Francisco, CA. Am I missing something with my service?

Turning it off won't make it so the gov't can't see you. BTW, they can also listen to you any time through your phone without you knowing it. Really.

It's been so long since I've been stock, but I'm guessing you still are? If you are stock, that may be what you have for your icons. The screen shot looks like some form of Fresh.
