What is your history with Pokemon?

Just wondering about everyone's history with Pokemon. Personally, I was never interested in it. Didn't play the games or watch the TV show. Seems like this game is bringing a lot of new people to Pokemon.

I've never played at all, nor wanted to or had any interest. In recent years I've basically stopped gaming of all kinds, besides a little with my 5 year old But for some reason, I guess since I've heard so much on it, I tried this. It's fun.

I grew up watching the cartoon before school when it hit its hayday. Its a nice bit of nostalgia for me. I've played ingress for the past 2 years, so I'm already used to where all the pokestops in my area are, and even submitted a few of them

I started by playing the games on my gameboy pocket (which I still have) then started to play the card games too.

My fist game was Pokemon Yellow. My first son was one. Later we had all the first cartoon series on vhs, and our kids played them over and over. I still have Ruby in my 3DS waiting for Sun/Moon anxiously. Now my oldest is 20, he and his friends are going out every night this past week playing Go. He hates he lost his Ash Pokemon League hat from when he was 6.

Well, I invented Pokeymon back in 67' but I gave up trying to commercialize it when the smiley face came out. Since then it seems some Japanese folks got wind of my idea and ran with it. I should have never tried sushi.
