I'm running MikG 2.61 on my phone. I'm looking to gain better battery life. Which kernel should I use? I don't wish to overclock. Just to get better battery life. Thanks in advance!

I load the lithids aggressive freedom kernel and it has helped my battery quite a bit.

Lithids Aggressive Freedom kernel is always a good one to try for Sense ROMs.

I would just try a few. For some reason (unknown to me) each kernel reacts differently on each phone, so ymmv.

Once again, I'd suggest aggressive freedom for lots of undervolting.

I'd suggest running setcpu with it though to max your performance

I'm running more freedom on my phone with mikg 2.61 and I'm not that impressed. It had worked OK on older versions of mikg so I'm not sure why it seems lackluster now. I might try out chop suey

I am, with governor set to smartass.

EDIT: What would be the highest to overclock, just out of curiosity?

Its different for every phone.

Mine has no issues at 1113MHz, but I havent pushed it any higher. With smartass the phone hardly goes up to my max anyway

so is the smartass governor only in Aggressive fredoms Kernel?/ If not where is this setting? Have set cpu and dont see that.

Its in all of the freedom line but not in all kernels. Which one are you running?

You shoudl see it in scaling

if you are on the main screen under scaling should be a drop down box where you can select your governor.
