Yeah I know it has the potential to start a argument but the captivate is the best looking Galaxy phone hands down the rest of the lineup feels cheap too, its a good phone and I am holding out for a while too, I can go buy a phone but my contract is not up till Oct so I am just going to sit back and see what comes out in the next year. I flash a rom once a month though so if I finally do kill my phone I may be forcedto get a new one.
People can argue all they want.
This galaxy s personifies samsung.
Great hardware with horrible software support.
With that said, I love how everyone and their grandmother is giving at&t credit and time on atrix and other phones because Q1 ends at the end of january.
and everyone is all pissed off that samsung didn't have 2.2 out by the "end" of the year.. which we are still in Q4 of XD
Either way.. I would laugh if samsung skipped straight to 2.3 a week after everyone left for the atrix or whatever else.
Playing around with it.. It doesn't feel "heavy" but, It also doesn't feel as light or cheap as I thought it might. Its very hand friendly to me.
I know not everyone likes swype but, I think its pretty cool as well.
Ah well.. I've been browsing various android forums to know that you will always have A. those who are mad at their device/manufacturer B. Those who are happy with it. and C. those who are enjoying their phone enough not to worry about details.
Hopefully I'll fall into C.
I completely understand peoples desire to have a product that works to their expectations and with all advertised features.
However, I got everything I needed today in the captivate and love it so far.
Yay me!
