What rare cars have you seen in person?

The rocker panel trim and round fog lights means that it was a GT, the nose looks like a 1967 to me. The GT was standard on 289 that year. Less than 500 made.

But - via PM, I got a no.

Hope that helps some.

All the chrome ? Looks like its has a lot of options... Wheels, lights, all chrome stuff, convertible ...... Is that its special?

Poweredge and Dustwun - close enough.

This isn't technically a Mustang. For the German market, the name "Mustang" was already being used by a truck (I believe a semi) and also a motorcycle. There was a snafu in the copyright/trademark system in Germany, where this was overlooked before Ford brought the Mustang over there. To avoid any lawsuits, Ford could NOT use the name Mustang at all, so the German Market vehicles were instead sold as the vehicle production code, T-5. Nowhere on the car, including any badges, engine bay, even owners manuals, was the name "Mustang" associated with this car in Germany. This particular example is 1 of 2 T-5s in the united states, and this one has less than 30000km on the clock (and yes the speedometer does read in km/h, not MPH).

I saw and own a Honda Accord! :D

What year is it??

LoL - good one btw, well played! :)

Not a car, but I saw what must now be a rare motorcycle, an MZ ETZ251. These were made in the former East Germany in the 1980s. I think there's few that are still running in Europe, but it's first time I've seen one here in China. Just about all motorcycles here are from Chinese makes, with some Japanese as well. No German or Italian ones, not that I've seen. Presumably MZ were exporting them to China at sometime. I instantly recognised what it was, because I used to ride one myself in the '80s....LOL.

I have seen one ferrari f12 today! It totally made my day!

Didn't take a pic since my phone camera is terrible, but got a peek at the massive iPad like display on the inside. It really is HUGE! :)
We have a couple electric charging stations in DC, but I thought these required specific Tesla ones. Not sure where they are (Tyson's Corner perhaps in VA?).

I went to Palm Springs last week to meet up with my daughter, who lives out of state but was there for an industry event. While tooling around town we passed this AMAZING collection of classic cars--for sale. I was driving and didn't really catch the name of the place, but I just looked on Google maps and see that it's McCormick's Palm Springs Exotic & Classic Car Auctions. OMFG. I was gasping at the sight of each car...and I think I was drooling, too. It's on N Indian Canyon Rd at Amado, for any of you who might want to take a look next time you're out in the Palm Springs area.

They charge BEST at Tesla superchargers, but can charge off of any 120V socket, I believe.

The Model S is a gorgeous bird.

When I saw the one in DC, he had it charging from his house but was having a higher capacity charger ( V ? ) installed from his garage that would charge it in 3 hours, not sure of that's fast.
