VM is selling the triumph for $120 today,my phone is working great with miui on it,also had CM7 on it.For this price the phone is a great buy,I'm thinking about getting another one for backup,don't know what VM will bring in down the road?

Actually, it's $149.99. That's a sweet deal for someone willing to support their own software installation. But I still can't recommend this phone - at any price - to a non-geek. Way too buggy, and I'm not willing to be tech-support to all of my friends and family.

It's $120 after SAVE20 code, which I just used, comes out to $128 with taxes. There's also a fatwallet cashback ($10-20) if you register.

Not trying to start an argument, but rooting and flashing CM7 took me less than an hour start to finish with absolutely no prior experience. The step by step guide here in the forum are very comprehensive. Also, I'm thinking if you are here on the forums, you're already partially a geek
